Lynzee says YES!

This year was a very special Thanksgiving. First of all, my whole family was able to come home and eat the Thanksgiving Feast. Rachel, Elden, and Kori all came up from St. George; Becky Russ, and little Kaylee came from Eagle Mountain; and us "basement buddies" were at home.

I carefully planned this day out and went and picked up Lynzee at 10:30am. When I got to her house I told her that I had a "cheesy" surprise that required her to be blindfolded. I put the blind fold over her and circled around the neighborhood for 20 minutes or so. During this time Lynzee's entire family gathered together at my house.

I had a shirt specially made for each person in the family that spelled out the phrase "Would you marry me?" Our two families gathered together on my front lawn to spell out the question. When we pulled up in the car I put on my shirt which had the question mark and I had two shirts for Lynzee to choose from (a nice "yes" shirt with a diamond ring on it, or a dirty "no" shirt).

I parked in our neighbors drive way and told Lynzee that we would have to walk for a little bit. I walked Lynzee up into position and I got on my knee with flowers in one hand and the ring in the other. Lynzee then took off the blindfold and was completed shocked at the proposal. She said yes, and we are set to be married on April 10th, 2009. Thanks everyone again for the help, I LOVE YOU LYNZEE!

Little Kaylee was born today... yes on Halloween. Mom, Dad, Kelli, Lynzee and I took a visit over to St. Marks Hospital to see the new baby. This was a very special time for our family and I could see the joy in everyone eyes that Kaylee brought. Becky and Russ seemed very happy to add the new member to their family.

Kaylee was such a cute little baby. As Becky handed Kaylee to me to hold for the first time, I was terrified that I would drop her, not support her head correctly, squeeze her too much, or I don't know do something that wouldn't be good for her fragile little body. But it went well. Congrats Becky and Russ!

BYU Game in Vegas

Lynzee and I took a trip to Las Vegas and saw BYU beat UNLV 59 – 21. The trip was interesting because we crammed into the back of Big Randy’s Infiniti G-37 for the trek down. We had a lot of fun!

The Fray Concert

The Fray came to the Usana Amphitheatre 7/18/2009. We had great seats which were only about 10 rows back. The concert was great but our view was blocked for a good majority of the time by these two rediculous and nasty girls in front of us. One girl in particular would raise up out of her chair during each song and gross out everyone in our section with her scandalous movements and obsescene gestures. Me and Lynzee could not help but just laugh each time she got up to do her thing. It was sick!

Anyway the music was great. The show was opened up by a Band from Colorado named Meese, they were awesome. They were followed by Jack's Manniquin and then The Fray. Other than the strong smell of beer in the air and the 1 hour that it took us to drive out of the parking lot the concert was awesome! Thanks so much Lynz, you are the best!

Slurpees are the best!

After golfing at Valley View Golf course for 4 and 1/2 hours in 100 degree weather, me and Tony stopped at 7-11 to grab a Slurpee. There I found my new favorite flavor to be Dr. Pepper. Here are some cool Slurpee facts I found at: http://www.slurpee.com/Slurpee101/Facts.aspx

Star Valley Wyoming / Idaho

I had the chance last weekend to go to Star Valley Wyoming. Star Valley is located on the Wyoming and Idaho border about 60 miles south of Jackson, WY. We stayed at a place called the Star Valley Ranch which is located in the city of Thayne.
